An expressionist view of Laurel Canyon, in Los Angeles, California. This artistic community launched great music in the 1960s and 70s, including Neil Young, Crosby Stills and Nash, Joni Mitchel, the Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac. The streets are narrow, many of the homes no larger than shacks, but that wasn't an obstacle to the rock n' roll that was launched in this canyon.
